Frequently Asked Questions
Have Questions?
Does EverSafe keep my financial and personal data secure?
Yes. We take pride in keeping your information secure. We understand you need to know that your information is fully protected. No account information is stored, and our security practices are reviewed and approved regularly by both independent auditors and our financial institution partners. Within our system, all communications are protected using advanced, industry-leading AES-256 encryption. Our SOC 2 Type II attestation, required by our numerous financial institution partners, requires us to participate in ongoing, vigorous independent audits.
What makes EverSafe alerts different from the alerts I receive from my bank or credit card company?
Your bank’s alerts cover accounts and transactions at that one institution. Scammers often work across multiple accounts and institutions, attempting to fly under the radar for as long as possible. EverSafe’s comprehensive monitoring covers activity in your linked accounts across those different institutions (i.e. banking, investment, credit cards) as well as real estate, emails, and credit data.
Tell me more about Trusted Advocates. What is the cost to add them and what do they see?
EverSafe’s exclusive Trusted Advocate feature enables you to designate family members, caregivers, and/or trusted professionals to receive alerts along with you and help monitor your accounts and credit for unusual activity. There is no additional cost to add one or more Trusted Advocates. These alerts will notify your designated individual(s) and/or team to anomalies in your finances, emails, and your credit data. If you specifically designate them to have additional access, they will have visibility as to financial transactions and account balances. Our system safeguards your finances and identity by ensuring that those you designate can assist quickly when potential threats arise – all while respecting your independence.
If I change my mind about a Trusted Advocate, can I revoke their access?
Yes, of course. EverSafe gives you full control over who receives alerts about your linked financial accounts and identity. You can easily add or remove Trusted Advocates whenever necessary, ensuring that your protection network always reflects your current preferences and trusted relationships.
If I receive an alert and have questions or need help right away, can I call EverSafe?
We understand that questions about alerts can’t always wait until morning. EverSafe’s US-based Customer Care is available any time – we’re open 24/7.
Do you work with my bank? Can I add or remove banking or investment accounts?
We connect with tens of thousands of financial institutions, large and small, nationwide. You can add or remove accounts anytime through your EverSafe dashboard. And don’t worry if you don’t have all your account information ready when you first sign up — you can always come back and add more accounts later.
Do you have a discount for additional family members?
Yes, we offer discounted rates when you add family members to your protection plan. EverSafe makes it simple to extend monitoring to your loved ones and include designated Trusted Advocates in your family’s alert network. Our family discounts reflect our commitment to keeping entire households safe from financial fraud—because protecting one person often involves protecting the whole family.
Can I sign up over the phone?
You can start your enrollment by calling us. Our US-based team of experts is available 24/7 to guide you through the initial setup — and at all times. We’ll then send you a secure link to complete the identity verification process and finish your enrollment online.
Do you support Powers of Attorneys and Guardians/Conservators?
Yes, our monitoring service is a perfect tool for fiduciaries to keep an eye on the financial accounts, credit, and real estate of the individuals they are protecting.
Do you have a discount for senior citizens?
Yes, we offer special pricing for citizens age 60 and older. As a platform designed with seniors in mind, we’re committed to making financial protection accessible and affordable for older adults.
What’s the best way to keep my financial advisor or attorney in the loop?
EverSafe’s Trusted Advocate feature gives you the ability to designate trusted professional(s), like your financial advisor, attorney, or accountant, to receive alerts at the first sign of erratic activity. And feel confident that financial institutions across the country rely on EverSafe as a key component of their client protection services, enabling them to offer you unparalleled protection for your finances, credit, emails and real estate.
Will EverSafe ever sell my data?
No. EverSafe will never sell your personal information — period. Protecting your privacy is central to our mission, and your data is used only to deliver the services you choose.
Can I cancel anytime?
