At EverSafe, we take pride in keeping your information secure. We understand that by using our platform to safeguard your identity, finances, emails, and real estate, you need to know that your information is fully protected.
What You Should Know
No full account numbers are stored at EverSafe. Our security practices are reviewed and approved regularly by both independent auditors and our financial institution partners. We also ensure that all of our external partners follow secure practices to protect the privacy and security of your information ̶ as we do.
Your Data is Secure, in Transit and at Rest
Within our systems, all communications are encrypted via Transport Layer Security 1.2+. All of your data is encrypted using advanced, industry-leading AES-256 encryption.
Our SOC 2 Type II audit, required by our numerous financial institution partners, requires us to go through ongoing and vigorous independent reviews for which we receive attestation reports verifying that we have implemented appropriate controls for managing customer data according to the Trust Services Criteria ̶ which include security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy.
Limited Administrative Access to Your Information
Our strict internal procedures prevent any EverSafe employee or administrator from accessing or viewing the limited data that are stored related to your account, with the exception of partial information that is necessary to assist with calls from EverSafe members to our 24-hour Customer Care.
Two-factor Authentication
We enable and recommend that our members add even more security to their accounts by initiating Two Factor Authentication whenever they sign-in to EverSafe from a new computer, device, or browser. We will send a unique code to your device that you must input as part of your login.
Fair Credit Reporting Act
EverSafe is fully compliant with the federal FCRA, which endorses the accuracy, fairness, and privacy of information in your credit file and strictly regulates the use of your data. We adhere to the FCRA’s limitations on who and for what purpose your information can be accessed.
